HTL Project 2026 – Rally Weiz
As part of the ‘Young people working for the future’ project, HW Sportmanagement, in collaboration with Stohl Racing, is enabling six pupils from HTL Steyr (Automotive and Electrical Engineering) to play an active role in the service team at the Rally Weiz.
These motivated young talents receive practical training in the Opel Mokka GSE Rally e-Cup and gain valuable experience in electric rally technology, vehicle maintenance, logistics and teamwork under real competitive conditions.
Following the success of the 2024 programme (including Luca Pröglhöf’s overall victory with support from HTL Mödling), HW Sportmanagement will continue to nurture the next generation of e-motorsport talent in 2026.
The Story
HaDi had hundreds of ideas for his retirement.
Now all that remains is one last adventure with his
sons
At 63, just before retirement, HaDi is diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Over the coming months, he will lose his speech, his mobility, and eventually himself.
Neither HaDi himself nor his sons Fritz and Max want to stand by and watch their father slip away. That is why the three of them are planning one last adventure:
A journey from the North Sea to the Zugspitze.
HaDi on his electric tricycle, Fritz
running alongside – 60 kilometres a day, for two weeks. Max follows them in the car.
Time is running out – so they set off.
We follow the three protagonists as closely as possible – using a combination of cameras mounted on the tricycle and a Steadicam following them along the route. The camera runs alongside them, rides with them; it is part of the journey, not an outside observer.
Timeframe:
Travel & production: 1–20 July 2026

JERC stands for Junior European Rally Championship.
It is the official junior championship of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) within the framework of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) – in other words, the ‘little sister’ of the main European Championship, specifically for young talents.
Taken together, the leading figures of the German hip-hop scene have a combined following of 15–25 million, and with a 65% share of Generation Z, hip-hop is the largest and most influential cultural movement of our time.
More than six in ten young adults in Germany aged between 14 and 24 identify with hip-hop culture, making it the dominant culture among young consumers.
Preparations are already in full swing
Battle of the Year (BOTY) Germany is the undisputed heart of German crew breaking and has been a global icon since the 1990s. Its tradition and unique battles inspire and motivate dancers worldwide.
BOTY Next Generation promotes development, visibility and cultural exchange, and embodies precisely the spirit that has made Battle of the Year a global cultural phenomenon.
The event has been successfully concluded by the organiser, HOUC (House Of Urban Culture).
